I was 9 the first time my parents got a car. For long drives, I invented a game for myself. We'd go around the city and I always counted how many arcades I could find because I loved them.
When I turned 23 I went back to my hometown. And I only counted one.
Maybe the arcades are gone but the spirit of their time is not.
